Bio

Raymond RaLonde is a Fisheries Professor for the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. He earned his bachelor degree in fisheries from Oregon State University and Master's Degree from the University of Idaho. His aquaculture experience include 3 years in the Peace Corps, and 11 years teaching salmon and shellfish aquaculture at Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka. He has been an Aquaculture Specialist for the Alaska Sea Grant Marine Advisory Program since 1991. His current research, education, and extension activities support the Alaska salmon ranching program and shellfish farming.
