Washington Sea Grant Science Writing Fellowship
WSG Science Writing Fellows assist in the development of a variety of communication products about Sea Grant projects and issues in marine-related research, education, and outreach.
One Science Writing Fellow is selected for each of three quarters during the academic year.
The Fellows work closely with the WSG Communications program. Each fellow is expected to spend eight to 10 hours per week on WSG Communications assignments.
This fellowship is limited to current upper-level undergraduate and graduate students in Washington state.
Application Deadlines
- Winter Quarter: December 14, 2011
- Spring Quarter: March 5, 2012
Applicants should forward a resume, two writing samples and a cover letter
outlining how this experience would further their goals to:
