Registering Your Orca Bowl Team
Please pre-register your team online as soon as possible. Pre-registration allows you to hold a spot for your team as registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon receipt of your pre-registration materials, we will send you official registration forms to be completed by your team members. Completed final registration forms are due no later than December 3, 2012. When all team registration forms have been received, you will get a confirmation email that your team is officially registered for the competition.

General Topics of Study
NOSB questions will integrate fundamental concepts in the following topics pertaining to the oceans, estuaries and the Great Lakes:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Geography
- Geology
- Math
- Physics
- Marine Policy
- Social Sciences (including economics, history and human interactions)
- Technology (including instrumentation, remote sensing and navigation)
- Current Events
Degree of Difficulty
The level of difficulty of competition questions will generally correspond to that of an advanced-placement high school or introductory undergraduate course.
