NOAA Science Camp – Employment

NOAA Science Camp hires dynamic individuals with exceptional experience in teaching youth in formal and informal settings. Both Camp Educators and Camp Aides attend a two day training where they work with NOAA and Washington Sea Grant camp staff and scientists to help provide safe, educational and fun experiences for campers. Camp employment is provided through the University of Washington, it includes two one-week day camp programs (10 days total) and two mandatory training days. Educators and Aides are expected to work full days, which are typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the duration of the camp.
